I want my customers to understand exactly what they will receive
for their hard earned money. I want there to be no surprises.
My images do not always
fit the strangely pre-determined proportions of typical photographic
prints; 8 x 10, 8 ½” x
11, etc. Because I do not include anything in the print that
doesn’t belong in the print, it is occasionally necessary
to trim one edge or another. My prints are ‘strip prints’;
the longest dimension falling within the 10”, 11”,
14” or 16” of print convention. FYI: The shorter
dimension may vary from convention and may be smaller than the
typical dimension, thereby negating the indiscriminate use of
precut mattes.
The prints are produced individually, to order, through a digitalized
process. The Lambda Fujiflex prints offer a nearly identical
quality and depth as the CibaChrome images of the previous century.
Print colors will not shift or fade. It should be stated that
monitor hues and contrast values vary from monitor to monitor.
The actual print may vary slightly from the small jpeg file representation
you see on the web-site.
I do not offer framing.
It would be a presumption for me to assume what frames would
look appropriate for your home or office. I certainly have
my favorite materials and finishes, but folks have been questioning
my tastes for years; I’d rather not
add more people to that list. Frames also complicate shipping
and increase the delivery charges.
Lastly, my pricing includes dry-mounting of each print onto
over-sized archival board (Alphamount), preserving the image
through shipping and the framing processes. The illustrated pricing
also includes shipping and taxes. One price, one print, your
satisfaction.
